Noche Latina Dance Company (NLDC) in conjunction with Union City Bar & Grill presents Latina Salsa Thursdays to the historic town of New Bedford with a Grand Opening on Thursday, November 5, 2009. Union City Bar & Grill 250 Union Street Downtown, New Bedford NLDC is a Latin Dance instruction company focusing primarily on LA Style Salsa (the style salseros and salseras dance at salsa clubs). We are famous for our Noche Latina Tuesday Salsa Nights at Ryles Jazz Club in the heart of Central Square in Cambridge. In addition to our regular group classes in Cambridge and Woburn, we also offer private and semi-private lessons and workshops. Los Angeles Style Salsa Classes will now be offered to the historic town of New Bedford followed by a Latin Night Dance Party. The ongoing classes are fun, energetic, a great workout, and beginner friendly! The classes are designed to teach the fundamental basic steps of salsa, followed by partnering and then combinations (dance moves) so social dancing becomes more enjoyable as students are preparing for the next level of dancing. No partner required - we suggest hard soled shoes or preferably dance shoes. For special events and parties, we offer dance classes, performances by our dance team, and DJ services. In the past, NLDC has performed at Boston City Hall Plaza and Boylston Place in Chestnut Hill just to name a few. We taught classes at the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston, and at the Larry Harlow Concert at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Cambridge, and also produced and taught a "Raise your Dancing to the Next Level" 5-hour Salsa Workshop in Woburn.
